New Scouts
Welcome to Pack 828. The link below will guide you through registering with National BSA and the Golden Gate Council. There is a one time prorated fee required by National BSA and Golden Gate Council to join scouts. Then proceed to step 2 to pay annual registration dues.
Returning Scouts
Welcome back! Please let us know that you are returning by emailing your den leader and completing this registration process.

Annual Registration Dues
What this Cost Covers:
National BSA and the Golden Gate Council raised their annual fees to over $160/scout. The Pack is required to pay to register your scout for the full year. The additional $140 covers costs for Campouts, Pinewood Derby, Blue & Gold show and treats, rocket launching night and most other pack events for the year.
Returning Scouts
Please use the Zelle app to send $300 to srpack828@gmail.com OR bring a check written to Pack 828 in the amount of $300 per scout to the next pack meeting.
PLEASE BE SURE TO ADD YOUR CHILD'S FIRST & LAST NAME & GRADE LEVEL IN THE MEMO SECTION OF ZELLE OR YOUR CHECK.
PLEASE NOTE A $25 LATE CHARGE IS ADDED TO THE COST OF REGISTRATION AFTER 9/13/24.
New Scouts
After paying your National and Council registration fees in Step 1, please use the Zelle app to send $175 to srpack828@gmail.com OR bring a check written to Pack 828 in the amount of $175 for your newly registered scout to the next pack meeting. PLEASE BE SURE TO ADD YOUR CHILD'S FIRST & LAST NAME & GRADE LEVEL IN THE MEMO SECTION OF ZELLE OR YOUR CHECK.

Medical Forms and Photo Release Form
Please print, fill out, and turn in complete Part A & B medical forms and a photo release form for each registered scout to Pack 828 Committee Chair Sejal Sanghvi at the first pack meeting.

Class A uniforms are from the belt up, meaning there is no need to buy specific pants or socks. Our Kindergarten Lions wear a t-shirt and hat. Click here to view the uniform elements.

Parent Volunteers
Pack 828 is a completely volunteer-led organization. Every pack needs to have dedicated Adult volunteers to plan and run a great pack program. Volunteers make sure that our cub scouts are able to enjoy and learn in the program. We cannot run this pack without your help.
In order to ensure we have enough volunteers we ask that each family of a scout volunteer to help run the Pack.We have many positions available, please be prepared to volunteer for a board position or a single event coordinator at the first pack meeting. If you have not volunteered for a position by 9/13, you will be assigned to help with an event. We encourage all of you to attend a Pack 828 parent led committee meeting. Subscription For Scout Life Magazine
Scout Life is the monthly magazine of the Scouting America. Please fill out the Google Form letting us know if you would like your scout to receive a subscription. A subscription is $15. If you would like a subscription, please send payment to the Pack via Zelle, cash or check.
